Hammer visited us not too long ago as he has a burst swelling on the side of his face. With the likelihood of it being an access, he headed on home with antibiotics and pain relief.
Hammer was a really good boy during his visit 💚
Happily, at his recheck, the abcess looked like it had nearly finished its healing 😃😃

This Tawny Frogmouth was brought in after being found in the middle of the road, not quite where it belonged! Our nurses determined that it needed a vet check and after a thorough examination, no obvious injuries or illness were found! A wildlife carer was organised to look after it until it improved.

If you find injured or sick wildlife, please call Sydney Wildlife Rescue on 9413 4300 or WIRES on 1300 094 737. If it is in urgent need of care, please take them to a vet clinic (if safe to handle) 🪶🐾
