Easter is a joyful time filled with lots of delicious treats - but unfortunately, our pets don’t always make the safest choices when they find them!

Common Easter items to avoid:
🍇 Hot cross buns (even one sultana, raisin, or grape can be toxic)
🍫 Chocolate
🍬 Candy (xylitol)
💐 Flowers (Easter lilies, among other types of lilies) Highly toxic to cats!
🐣 Easter toys and decorations

Keep these items well out of reach of your pets. If your cat or dog has accidentally ingested one of these, don’t wait until it’s too late – please give our clinic a call ASAP. If it is after hours, contact your nearest 24-hour emergency vet clinic immediately 🐾

The ecollar is very important for both dogs and cats to wear after their desexing procedures. This prevents them from licking and chewing their wound which can lead to infection, wound opening or other complications 🐱🐶
