👑 King’s Birthday Public Holiday Closure 👑

Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed on Monday 8th June for the King’s Birthday public holiday.

Patient of the Week: Rio 💕

Some patients just need a little extra TLC.

Sweet Rio decided that the only acceptable plan today involved being cuddled by Dr Prue. In fact, she would only let us give her injections while safely tucked into Prue’s arms. 🥹

We’re happy to report that Rio’s treatment, team-approved comfort strategy, was a complete success.

Honestly, with a face like that, who could say no?

It’s Dr Prue’s favourite season of the year… dental season! 🦷✨

Unlike most normal vets, Prue absolutely loves a pet dental.

If your furball’s breath could clear a room, or you’ve been putting off booking their dental, now’s the time.

☔️ Sydney really said “no thanks” to sunshine this week… but at least the dogs can still look cute. ☔️

We are OBSESSED with these adorable little raincoats from Funk Dog that are at Parkes Street Vet.
And honestly… Leon understood the assignment perfectly. 💛

Practical? Yes.
Ridiculously cute? Also yes.
Tiny dog in a raincoat looking personally offended by the weather? Absolutely.

Available now in clinic in a range of sizes before this rain decides to stick around forever. 🌧️🐾

Dash came in for a happy first visit to get his vaccinations and records all sorted — and made sure everyone knew he was the star of the show while he was here 💚

10/10 good boy behaviour. Extra points awarded for that adorable face.

PATIENT OF THE WEEK 🐾💚

Meet Angus 🐶

Angus recently stayed with us for two nights while being treated for AHDS (Acute Haemorrhagic Diarrhoea Syndrome) — and while he wasn’t feeling his best, he was an absolute superstar patient the whole way through 💚

This gorgeous boy melted hearts with his sweet nature and spent his hospital stay snuggled up with the toys his dad thoughtfully brought in for him 🧸🥹

We’re happy to say Angus was a super brave boy, a perfect gentleman for his care, and gave us plenty of adorable moments while he recovered.

Feel better soon, Angus — we think you’ve more than earned your Patient of the Week title 💚🐾✨
