🚨 Tick Alert! 🚨

We’ve seen two tick paralysis cases at our clinic over the past two weeks. Both cases were from local areas, one form Rockdale and one from Engadine — a strong reminder that paralysis ticks are active everywhere right now!

Tick paralysis is life-threatening. Please make sure your pets are:

✔️ Up to date on tick prevention (spot-on, tablet, injection or collar)
✔️ Checked daily, especially around the head, neck, armpits, and between toes
✔️ Seen by a vet immediately if they show weakness, hindlimb lameness, or difficulty breathing

Ask us about the flea and tick injection for dogs that provides year-long protection!! A single injection will control flea and tick infestations on the dog within 2 days of treatment. From day 6, fleas are killed within 24 hours of infestation before they lay eggs, for a full year. Ticks are killed within 2 days of treatment or infestation, for a full year. Calling all towel and blanket heroes!

Our furry patients are in need of some cozy comforts — and you can help! 🐶🐱

We’re on the lookout for clean towels and blankets (they don’t have to be new!) to help keep our patients warm, snuggly, and happy during their visits.

On Sunday the 24th September 2023, Dogs in the park nsw festival will be returning back to Don Lucas Reserve in cronulla from 10am to 3pm for our Annual Dogs Day out.
Get ready for a day filled with excitement and fun for dogs and their human companions at Dogs in the Park! Join us for a jam-packed event featuring a variety of drawcard attractions and activities that everyone can participate in.

* Dog Demonstrations
* Doggy Market Stalls
* Food Vendors
* Doggie Splash Pools

Time: 10am to 3pm
Location: Don Lucas Reserve, Mitchell rd., Cronulla

Show off your pet's unique style and creativity in the best-dressed pet competition. Get creative with costumes and let your furry friend shine!

Dog races competitions: Cheer on your favorite furry racers as they dash towards the finish line in exciting dog race competitions. Who will be crowned the fastest pup?

Dachshund Races - Do you own a dachshund, this is the race for you, start practicing with your dachshund and see if you will take out the fastest Dachshund on the day.
Dog Got talent contest: Marvel at the impressive tricks and talents of dogs as they compete in a thrilling dog trick contest. Prepare to be amazed by their skills and intelligence!

Doggie Ice cream eating competition, Dog will have up to 1 minute for small dogs and 30 secs for large dogs to clean the mats in the fastest time possible. The flavors will vary on the day of the event.

Plus heaps more on the day as well.

Come out on Sunday 24th September 2023 for a tail wagging day! You will have a great fun day out at Doggie day out for your pooches.
