The Cottage Animal Hospital is a collaborative venture between Doggie Rescue and Veterinarian Dr Deirdre (Dee) Clack. Dee has been a full time veterinarian for 26 years, including doing much of the veterinary work for re

scue animals from for Doggie Rescue animals for over 15 years. Our caring and knowledgeable staff will work hard to ensure your pet receives loving, gentle health care, in a calm environment - and we commit to provide you with all the information you need to consider treatment options which are tailored to the specific needs of you and your pet. We are very proud of our animal hospital and strive to make it welcoming, inclusive and a place where you feel you belong and can drop in for a social visit or any time you have concerns about your pet.

Meet The Sheep Detectives Adoptables

Straight from the pages of mystery and mischief, thanks to another save by Monika's Doggie Rescue & The Cottage Animal Hopital, come five adorable little detectives looking for forever homes! These fluffy 11-week-old kittens are currently residing at The Cottage Animal Hospital.

All five kittens are affectionate little purr machines once they feel comfortable and safe, each with their own adorable personality.

🩵Ronnie (female)
The only girl of the group, Ronnie is clever, sweet and quietly confident. She loves a cuddle once she’s finished supervising everyone else’s business. Ronnie has a gentle nature but can absolutely hold her own with her brothers. Her soft silver coat and soulful eyes make her impossible to resist.

🩵Cloud (male)
Cloud is the tiniest member of the detective team, but what he lacks in size he makes up for in sweetness. This gentle little silver fluffball had a quieter start but is now gaining weight beautifully and thriving thanks to the dedicated care and love of our nurses. He can be shy initially, but once he feels safe he becomes an affectionate little purring machine who loves gentle cuddles and company.

🩵Mopple (male)
Mopple is another of the shyer boys at first, preferring to sit back and observe before joining the fun. Once comfortable though, his playful personality shines through and he absolutely loves pats and attention. He’s a gorgeous fluffy boy with a soft nature and a very loud purr.

🩵Reggie (male)
Reggie is a handsome little gentleman with a big purr and lots of personality. He’s affectionate, confident and loves being involved in whatever’s happening around him. Reggie would thrive in a home where he can be both adored and slightly spoiled.

🩵Sir Richfield (male)
Sir Richfield takes his role very seriously — distinguished fluff, excellent whiskers and impeccable manners. He’s affectionate, playful and has the cutest expressive face. A perfect combination of regal elegance and chaotic kitten energy.

These gorgeous babies are looking for loving forever homes.
They can be adopted individually to the right home, or in pairs for double the fun, zoomies and cuddles.

📞 ARH Baulkham Hills – (02) 9639 7744 – emergency and critical care services - please call ahead to ensure open.

1. Little Grand Lady – Gina
Don’t let her expression fool you — this tiny 12-year-old queen may look like she’s judging you, but she’s really a soft, chittering, purring sweetheart.
This senior girl found herself alone and in terrible condition at the pound — no place for a grand old lady!
She arrived twig-thin and tired, but thanks to another save by the amazing crew at Doggierescue - with gentle care, she’s doing well.
Age: Approx. 12-13 years young
Personality: Calm, affectionate, loves company
Quirks: Trills, chitters, head-boops, instant purrs
Ideal Home: Quiet, cosy, warm, INDOORS ONLY and full of love

2. Huntrix:
Age: ~1–1.5 years
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Tabby
Location: Doggierscue Shelter - Ingleside

Huntrix arrived at the council pound with tiny newborn babies, terrified and unsure of the world.
She has transformed into the most affectionate, smoochy, cuddly young mumma.
Initially shy with new people — she may need a little time and a calm environment to settle
Once she trusts you, she is loving, gentle, and affectionate
Loves head rubs, cuddle time.
Has the most stunning green eyes that will absolutely melt you
Needs a safe indoor only home (or indoor with secure outdoor enclosure)

3. All the babies!!!! Our Halloween litter and our K Pop Litter - 3 have been lucky enough to secure forever homes already
They are bouncy playful confident youngesters that would do well in pairs or in a single cat home. All are listed seperately on Doggierescues website. They are located with us at the Cottage

This week we celebrate our incredible nursing team — the compassionate, capable, and endlessly dedicated people who keep The Cottage running every single day.

From calming anxious patients and supporting our amazing rescue partners Monika's Doggie Rescue, to managing complex anaesthetics, intricate care plans, and the daily unpredictable chaos of a busy hospital — they do it all with grace, humour, and heart.

Anneli, Courtney, Mary, & Bailey — you are the backbone of The Cottage, the steady hands and kind voices behind every patient’s recovery.

Thank you for your skill, your care, and the love you pour into every animal who walks (or hops, slithers, or flies) through our doors. 💚🐾

She recognized their suffering when others ignored it, offering her time, her voice, and her heart to beings who were invisible in the eyes of the world.

A true hero for animals, her compassion and kindness will be remembered for generations to come.
