When Diesel met Tilly 😍😍

It's not often we get two English Bull Terriers in, let alone at the same time!
Tilly had been staying with us in the hospital for a few days and by chance Diesel was in for his puppy vaccination.
Lots of photos and a little kiss later it was cuteness overload for everyone!! 🥰

Meet Beau!

Beau is the dog of Nurse Ell, and yesterday he came to the clinic for his castration surgery.
Very big day for a very big pup!

Here he is pictured recovering with his mumma 🐾💛

Unfortunately we have had a deceased black cat bought into us at the clinic.
There is no microchip, fully black with a white spot on its belly area.
Please call if you have any questions or think this may be your pet.
Thanks 😊

Let's talk about blocked bladders....

In the last week we have had three cats presented to us with a blocked bladder! We usually see one every 2/3 months so it feels like we should definitely be bringing it to everyone's attention!!

A blocked bladder is more common in male cats and can be a very serious life threatening condition if not treated in a timely manner.

Things to look for:

*Inability to urinate or straining to urinate
*Abdominal pain and swelling
*Increased grooming of the ge***al area
*Pain and vocalisation
*Blood in urine
*Lethargy, vomiting and disorientation

The increase in cases in the last week may have been due to the colder weather and them not wanting to go outside to the toilet.

If you suspect your cat may be experiencing any of these symptoms please contact us as soon as possible!

Bob was a very sad boy when he came into us on Friday but it's home time today and he's super happy about it, we promise!

Poor wee Chewie unfortunately didn't live up to his name when he took on this bone!
After a wee sedation and some bone cutters Chewie was freed of his troublesome treat and by the looks of it he'll be thinking twice about trying one of those again!
