Top tip Friday🐈🐾🫶

How to know that your cat is stressed? And how to help? 😻

Cats can be very good at hiding when they’re feeling stressed, so the signs are often easy to miss. Common signs of stress can include hiding more than usual, changes in appetite, over-grooming, increased vocalisation, aggression, litter tray accidents, or becoming more withdrawn. Stress can be triggered by changes at home, new pets or people, loud noises, travel, or even illness.😺
You can help your cat feel more comfortable by keeping a calm and predictable routine, providing safe hiding spots and quiet resting areas, and encouraging daily play. Pheromone diffusers such as Feliway and Pet Remedy are also great to use as well. If you notice ongoing behavioural changes or signs of anxiety, it’s best to get in contact with your vet clinic to discuss the best ways to support your cat’s wellbeing.🐱💛

What is the best way to help your puppy with teething?

Teething can be tough for little pups, but there are lots of fun ways to help! 🐶Frozen treats with water and a few hidden goodies are perfect for sore gums and keep puppies happily busy🧊Tough toys like KONG balls🎾rope toys🪢and even frozen carrots 🥕 are great for chewing too.
If your puppy keeps choosing your shoes 👞 over their toys, try adding a little gravy or bacon-flavoured🥓spray to the toys — suddenly the toys become way more exciting!🐕✨
