Last weekend, Rift had a playdate with Ava the Dalmatian. Pilot is usually very dog reactive, but has been gaining so much confidence since becoming a big brother, he was able to join in the play date too! 🥰

The humans are catching up on boring life admin today, but planning to teach Rift about beaches and cafes on Sunday and Monday! Photos to come! 📷

Miss Rift is settling into life in the mad house well. It helps that she's a goofy idiot just like the majority of our household.

Wee Nimbus is the one who is least thrilled by his new sister. He finds her exuberance for life irritating and likes to sit up high and swear at her as often as possible. We (the humans) are providing Nimbus with lots of support, encouraging positive meetings and of course, additional snuggle time whenever he wants it. ❤

Nimbus has never been thrilled about dogs, so we don't expect they will ever be best friends. Nimbus did know that despite Ollie's size, he was a gentle giant and would happily settle on the couch with him. He also knows that Pilot is a bit of an idiot, but ultimately means him no harm. His feet just move faster than his brain sometimes and Nimbus is so little, he gets knocked about in the process. Nimbus keeps out of Pilot's way, but knows if Pilot is sleeping or settled down, it is safe to settle with him. Hopefully, one day soon, a similar peace will be reached with Rift and Nimbus. In the meantime, I'm willing to suffer through evenings with Nimbus settled on my back in bed. 🐈‍⬛
