In the second slide, you’ll see a comparison of where the bladder is normally located (top picture) versus where it was for Lilac (bottom picture)… and yes, it’s as shocking as it looks.

Lilac came to us with ongoing urinary issues, but her radiographs revealed something incredibly rare that shocked our doctors; her bladder was sitting outside the body wall! Thanks to a quick referral and the amazing team at OVC, Lilac was able to undergo surgery and get the care she needed. 💙

Cases like this are a reminder of how important diagnostics can be — and how resilient our patients truly are.
