Patience, along with Planning and Preparation, is critically important when you bring home a new cat or kitten, especially when you introduce them to other pets and family members. Both take time, and taking the time can make all the difference in having a successful integration into your home. Read more about the Three Ps of adoption at https://bit.ly/3CZJV4y.

🐾 5 Signs Your Cat Should See a Vet

Cats are masters at hiding when something is wrong—which means subtle changes in behavior can be easy to miss.

Here are 5 important signs it’s time to book a veterinary visit:

1️⃣ Changes in eating or drinking habits
2️⃣ Litter box issues (straining, accidents, or frequency changes)
3️⃣ Low energy, hiding, or behavior changes
4️⃣ Vomiting or ongoing digestive upset
5️⃣ Signs of pain (limping, bad breath, or difficulty moving)

If you notice any of these, don’t wait—early care makes a big difference in your cat’s health and comfort.

At Guelph Cat Clinic, we focus exclusively on feline medicine, creating a calm, cat-friendly environment designed to reduce stress and support better outcomes.

📅 Concerned about your cat? Book a wellness exam today and get peace of mind knowing your cat is in good hands.

Her presence will be deeply missed by our team and the many clients she’s connected with along the way.

Today we’re sharing a bittersweet goodbye to someone who has been a huge part of our clinic family 💙
Uneeb joined us 6 years ago as a Veterinary Assistant, and over the years we’ve had the privilege of watching his dedication, compassion, and love for animals grow every single day. From helping behind the scenes to supporting our patients and clients, he has truly left his mark on our team.
Now, we’re incredibly proud to celebrate his next chapter — Uneeb has officially graduated from OVC and is now a licensed veterinarian! 🎓🐾 What an amazing accomplishment 😻.
While we’re sad to see him go, we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead. We know he will make an incredible impact wherever his career takes him.
Please join us in wishing Uneeb all the best as he begins this exciting new journey! 💫
