Did you know that April is Heartworm Awareness Month?

Heartworm Disease is transmitted by infected mosquitoes and can affect both cats and dogs, leading to potentially life-threatening complications. Heartworm is actively transmitted by mosquitoes as soon as the temperature reaches around 15 degrees C, and ticks can become active at temperatures as low as 0 degrees C; that means that now is the ideal time to start giving your furry friends their parasite prevention for the season!

It's that time of year again. The sun is shining and the temperature is increasing! Perfect weather to go to the park or walk a trail with your furry family members. Just remember that if you think it is a good time to walk a trail or go to the park, so do the parasites. Ticks, fleas, and intestinal worms are active any time the weather is above 0° C. Come in today to grab some prevention. While you're at it, get a heartworm test so that we can give you prevention for those villains too. Take a look below for our current promotion.

With the incoming snow, we would like to wish everyone a holiday season filled with love, joy, family, and friends. Please be safe out there these next few days.

We would like to take this time to inform everyone of our holiday hours. Please make sure you have enough food or medication to last until we open again on January 2nd. The last day we will be able to accept any food or medication requests is Wednesday, December 21st by noon. This is so that we can make sure it will be delivered should we need to order it from our supplier.
