Adobe Veterinary Center Our practice serves Tucson and nearby areas with care for multiple species.

Five vets treat dogs and cats; five others focus on horses, livestock, and potbelly pigs, offering over 50 years of combined expertise and dedication. Our practice is unique, we provide medical care to multiple species in the greater Tucson and surrounding areas. Three of our veterinarians specialize in the care of dogs & cats, the other four veterinarians specialize in the care of horses, livestock, & potbelly pigs with 40 years of experience.

Sometimes when you’re young, you feel a calling, a desire to care for animals, to heal, to help. ❤️🐾

Right now, there’s a serious shortage of veterinarians and vet staff across the country. Many practices are struggling just to meet demand, and by 2030 the U.S. could be short thousands of vets who care for pets, livestock, and families. ( AAVMC+2WBAL+2 )

If you’ve ever felt that pull now is a more important time than ever to answer it.

If cats could talk…

But here’s the thing: cats don’t talk, and that’s what makes them such mysterious (and sometimes tricky) patients. In the wild, showing pain or weakness could make them vulnerable, so even today, our house cats are masters at hiding illness.

By the time a cat starts showing obvious signs (like hiding more, eating less, or acting grumpy) their condition may already be advanced. That’s why regular checkups, even for seemingly healthy cats, are so important. 🩺

Routine exams and lab work can catch changes early, llong before your cat would ever “admit” something’s wrong. 😉
