Dear Sugar Roots Farm Community,
As our long term followers and supporters know, Summers at Sugar Roots are never easy, and this one has felt particularly challenging with the relentless heat and weather.
So, in order to take a deep, refreshing breath, Sugar Roots Farm will close to the public for August and September, giving us time to rest, reflect, and prepare to reopen with renewed energy and an exciting direction for the future.
During this pause, farm visits, field trips, birthday parties, and the sale of farm goods will be temporarily unavailable. If you’ve been hoping to visit or plan an experience with us, we appreciate your patience while we take this time to prepare for what’s ahead.
Our beloved Executive Director, Brittany, will also be stepping away from her role to focus her time and energy on her family. We will forever be grateful for the enthusiasm, passion, and heart she poured into Sugar Roots. The farm was incredibly lucky to have her devoted leadership, and her success can be seen not only in improved numbers across the board, but in the overwhelmingly positive feedback and love from our community. We are so grateful for all she has given us.
Stay tuned for what’s to come! In the meantime, our happy and healthy animal educators will be enjoying a well-deserved vacation and living their very best farm life. ❤️
