Update: We’re so sorry to share that due to weather and storm debris, our Spring Festival scheduled for this Saturday (May 10, 2025) has been canceled.

All ticket holders will receive a full refund or can choose to apply their ticket to our October festival instead.

Sugar Roots is a non-profit entity and gladly accepts donations. All of our funding is reinvested in the farm, which becomes soil, seeds, feed for our animal ambassadors, and more.

We need your help! Charlie, our sweet 16-year-old farm dog (French poodle), needs dental surgery, which requires specialized medical support during the procedure. Please consider donating to the GoFundMe to help Charlie smile again!

Our non-profit educational farm seeks to Teach children K-12 ecological stewardship, where their food comes from, and make healthy eating decisions using a place-based, experiential, hands-on curriculum through our field trips and our Summer Camp program.

Volunteer Opportunity! We seek 5-7 volunteers to help out at our Spring Festival on Saturday, May 11th, from 8:30am - 2pm.

This year's fest will include Live Music, Pony Rides, Local NOLA Vendors, Animal Feeding, Arts and Crafts, and Concessions. And since it is the day before Mother's Day, everyone has a chance to hand-pick a bunch of flowers from the farm for a small donation!
