UPDATE...We've decided not to attend today due to weather. We'll see everyone next weekend in Algiers Point, The Marigny, and Harahan!

We will be at the Old Metairie Farmers Market tomorrow (Saturday, May 9th) from 8:30 to 12:30.

If you normally visit us in the Marigny or in Harahan, this will be your chance to see us this weekend (no Harahan market because it's Mother's Day).

Come get your pet treats 🐶🐱and coffee☕️ in Old Metairie (flyer attached). So many great vendors will be in attendance rain or shine!

Adam is flying solo today at the Harahan Farmers Market, located at 501 Oak Avenue, Harahan, with lots of fresh-roasted coffee, honey from our Algiers apiary, and homestead-made freeze-dried and dehydrated pet treats. Come by to say hi between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. 🎄

Thrilled to be putting up roughly 3 quarts of apple cider vinegar!

I've always made apple SCRAP vinegar because here in the deep south, unpasteurized apple cider is virtually impossible to find, but I'm told necessary for making apple CIDER vinegar. When we traveled to WV in September, I bought 2 gallons of unpasturized cider from a local apple orchard to bring home. We drank some, and I turned the rest into vinegar.

Apple scrap vinegar is great--and I will certainly make it again-- but this is another level and I'm super excited about it. The flavor is intensely apple-y and it smells heavenly! I'll be using some today in a marinade for pork chops that are on the menu for dinner tonight.🤤
