Evening everyone, Payton here! Please join me in wishing the happiest 40th birthday to our Animal Care & Foster Coordinator, Andrea.🥳 Andrea has been my side since I started with SFTS a little more than 4 years ago. We started out as veterinary assistants at Wisconsin Community Veterinary Center, and my goodness have we been on a journey. We had no idea we'd end up here, but we've learned so much together. She is truly my right hand, and I genuinely don’t know what I’d do without her.
Andrea is a quiet but powerful force in our organization. I truly believe she is the heart of SFTS.💕 Always the first to help, never one to complain, motivated to continue learning, and deeply driven to give our animals the best possible care, everyone loves Andrea - and for good reason! She has fostered countless animals, spent days tackling large scale cases with me, suffered through sleepless nights and celebrated huge wins.
If you have ever had the privilege of meeting Andrea, her heart and belief in this work is so powerful. We are forever grateful we have the honor of having her on our team, and I hope to god she continues to put up with my craziness! Please help me in wishing her a happy birthday!🎉
***Andrea is very often subjected to participate in my social media shenanigans, and is a great sport. Her arms are in nearly all of our photos! It’s been a running joke every time we get a bad picture to “add it to the birthday album”, so it is with her permission that we share these outtakes.😂
