💖Adoption Event 💖

Meet Gus!
You might have guessed based on his white face, but Gus is an older fellow at around 11 years. He was surrendered (with his other beagle friend, Amazon) to a Wisconsin shelter after his owner died. He is a very good natured, pleasant gentleman. He gets along well with dogs, cats, humans, and kids. Gus is a loyal companion dog. He would love to hang around you and other dogs the most. He is low energy overall but always up for a nice, steady walk. He's great on a leash and loves to sniff things! A fenced-in yard would be amazing! Gus would enjoy watching TV with you on the couch while getting some pets and chest rubs. He naps much of the day but also has little spurts of playfulness with toys. Gus loves tasty treats and trying out his foster mom's variety of snuffle toys and treat puzzles. He doesn't seem to know many commands except perhaps his name. Gus doesn't really bark, but has made a mild howl or whine on occasion. He'll deny it if you ask, but there is also some mild snoring! His previous home said he would have accidents, but current foster hasn't observed that when kept to a regular potty-schedule.

-Would prefer a home without too many stairs

What's new Wednesday: welcome the "pyramid" puzzle to the My Intelligent Pets family. This puzzle is 4 out of 5 paws on the scale of difficulty and is for medium to large dogs. Your dog will work their way through drawers, pegs, and movable rods to get a treat. Now is the season to work your dogs brain, not just their body! 🧠

We have some sad news... the grinch seems to be in town and he's ruined our treat machine. HOWEVER, we will NOT let that ruin our holiday spirit and will still be offering treats, just for free now. 🥳
(You'll have to lift the lid and stick your paws in to get treats now, but they'll still be there!)
