“Mental health is complex.” Dr. Megan Moreno reminds us there's no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to teens and social media. In this insightful piece by Laura Yuen, for the Minnesota Star Tribune, young people share their honest takes on the highs and lows of life online — from connection and creativity to comparison and burnout.

As debates swirl around smartphones and mental health, Dr. Moreno calls for nuance: “It’s never going to be a single solution or a single cause.”

A must-read for parents, researchers, and anyone who cares about the next generation's digital well-being.
