A dog’s presence can change the way a moment feels. 🐾
While WAGS is known for training highly-skilled service dogs that support people with mobility disabilities, our work also includes clinical therapy dogs who bring comfort, connection, and support to our community.
In schools, clinical therapy dogs help students navigate stressful moments, build confidence, regulate emotions, and simply feel supported. Their calm presence can create opportunities for connection that are sometimes difficult to achieve in other ways.
WAGS clinical therapy dogs work alongside trained professionals in educational and healthcare settings, helping provide comfort during everyday challenges and moments when extra support is needed.
Behind every one of these incredible dogs is a community of volunteers, trainers, and partners who help them develop the skills needed to make an impact.
Together, we’re creating more opportunities for connection, compassion, and support across Madison-area communities.
