A recap of our Smallholderโ€™s meeting last week on the topic of ectoparasite control and the prevention and treatment of flystrike in sheep ๐Ÿชฐ

With a great talk from NoBacz about their fabulous new product AMBUGREEN. Ambugreen plays an amazing role in protecting and healing all wounds and is especially good for flystrike cases! We love it ๐Ÿ™Œ

Thank you Amelia and Russ for hosting and to everyone who attended and spoke! We hope you all enjoyed yourselves!

We all love to see our lambs out at grass but bare in mind what you canโ€™t see hereโ€ฆ nematodirus!

Luckily the SCOPS website has fabulous resources to help farmers track the hatching of nematodirus eggs around the UK and advise that you treat for nematodirus as soon as your area is marked as high risk.

Nematodirus kills lambs and they can pick it up as soon as they are nibbling on grass. So visit scops.org.uk today to check the forecast in your area.

๐Ÿ‘ Mothering on two caid lambs to a ewe whoโ€™d lost her twins. Keeping them warm under the heat lamp and topping them up with colostrum straight away with the help of the EZ milker!

This little gadget really does make milking a lot easier! Itโ€™s sterile, thereโ€™s no need to turn the ewe over and itโ€™s ready to go with the simple addition of a teat.

Both lambs went on to bond well with the ewe with a bit of perseverance and have flourished from footwell to field!
