It’s Feature Friday!! Today’s feature is the amazing Dr. Jordyn DeWalt!! 💕🩺

Dr. Jordyn DeWalt is a Saskatchewan born vet who has been with Orchard Veterinary Care since she graduated from the WCVM in 2018. While working part time at OVC, she also completed her MBA from the Edward’s School of Business in 2020.

While Dr. Jordyn loves dog and cat medicine, her real passion is working with exotic pets. Although she enjoys working with all scaled and furry friends, if you twisted her arm, she’d say her favorite species to work with are rats and bearded dragons. Beyond exotics, her special interests are in internal medicine, cytology, and senior wellness care. Regardless of the species, Dr. Jordyn’s driving force lies in providing compassionate veterinary care with a focus on communication and owner comprehension. She leaves work happy when her clients have been able to make informed decision that are right for themselves and their pet family members.

When she’s not at work Dr. Jordyn is taking care of her own pets which include canaries, finches, cats, and a dog. She enjoys reading, gardening, and international travel.
