The heat has backed off a bit, summer is still very much here, and the Furbaby Pet Care campus is ready for another great week.

Days like these mean paying a little extra attention. Lots of fresh water, close supervision, indoor downtime during the hottest parts of the day, and carefully planned outdoor time during the cooler morning and evening hours.

Our team is keeping a close eye on every pup and adjusting routines as needed to help them stay comfortable and safe. πŸ•

Construction is currently taking place along the front sidewalk area of the building.

THE ONLY ACCESS is to use the north parking lot and enter through the side door until the work is completed.

A few simple things can make a big difference:

β€’ Refresh water bowls often throughout the day

When temperatures start climbing, here are a few important things every dog owner should keep in mind:

β€’ Always make sure your dog has access to lots of fresh water
β€’ Limit outdoor activity during the hottest parts of the afternoon
β€’ Watch pavement temperatures β€” if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws
β€’ Never leave pets unattended in vehicles
β€’ Pay attention to heavy panting, fatigue, or overheating
β€’ Make sure your pets have access to cool, shaded areas and time to rest
