When you're a rehab superstar, there's no better way to celebrate your special day than with some of your favorite activities — an underwater treadmill session, laser therapy, and then heading home for a well-deserved puppy hamburger! 🍔🎂

Rolo is one of our regular visitors, and we always love seeing his happy face come through the door. Being part of our patients' lives, not just during recovery but throughout their wellness journey, is one of the best parts of what we do.

Oscar was definitely feeling himself today 😎🐾

Talk about a model! This sweet 7-month-old pup stopped by for a quick cookie, a weigh-in, and to show off his fresh haircut ✂️🍪

We love positive visits for puppies and helping set them up for success from a young age. Creating happy, low-stress experiences at the clinic is so important to us, and honestly, getting to meet all of these sweet hearts is one of the best parts of our day ❤️

🎉 2 YEARS OF BRIDGE CITY VETERINARY REHABILITATION 🎉

It’s hard to believe that just over 2 years ago our “office” was a car during our mobile clinic days… and now here we are. What a journey it has been. 💙🐾

Over the last two years, we’ve had the privilege of being part of so many pets’ recovery journeys, mobility goals, and ongoing wellness care. From post-surgical rehabilitation to helping senior pets stay comfortable and active, we are incredibly grateful for every family that has trusted us with their pets.

Our team is continually inspired by the dedication and love our clients show their animals every single day. Watching the hard work, patience, and commitment that goes into supporting these pets is something we never take for granted, and we feel so lucky to be part of their journey.

💧 Water Safety Matters 💧

At Bridge City Veterinary Rehabilitation, your pet’s safety is always our top priority—especially in our underwater treadmill.

✔️ Track & tank deep cleaned weekly

✔️ Full water maintenance performed regularly based on patient volume

✔️ Chemical levels balanced 2–3 times daily

✔️ Routine swabbing & culturing to ensure optimal water quality

✔️ Built-in UV sanitation system for an extra layer of protection

Why does this matter?

Without proper water management, pets can be more susceptible to skin infections—especially immune-compromised patients and those recovering from surgery, where preventing infection is critical.

Every step is intentional—so your pet can focus on healing, strengthening, and moving better in a safe, clean environment.

Sweet Charlie has officially graduated from his rehab program! 🎓🐾

This adorable guy came to us after experiencing cruciate ligament disease in both hind limbs — something unfortunately very common with this condition.

Charlie underwent staged TPLO surgeries (one leg at a time) and completed rehabilitation following both procedures.

His recovery plan included:

✨ Regular physical exams to ensure he was staying on track with his rehabilitation goals

✨ Supplement recommendations

✨ A custom home exercise program

✨ Hydrotherapy sessions

Our rehabilitation goals included rebuilding muscle and improving strength, while also focusing on long-term arthritis management to help keep Charlie comfortable and mobile for years to come.

Charlie’s family was incredibly consistent and dedicated throughout his recovery journey, and their hard work truly paid off. We are so proud of how far he has come! ❤️

Now that Charlie has graduated, he is eligible to join our Trailblazer Pup Program — a program designed specifically to help pets maintain the gains they’ve worked so hard for during rehabilitation. 🐾
