Happy Halloween! 👻🧡

While you enjoy the tricks and treats, here are a few friendly reminders to keep your furry family members safe this Halloween:

🍫 Keep candy out of paw’s reach! Chocolate and xylitol-containing candies are toxic to pets.

🚪 Keep pets safe indoors. Frequent doorbell rings and spooky costumes can be stressful, so give nervous pets a quiet, cozy space away from the Halloween hustle and bustle.

🐈 Give outdoor kitties space. If you spot a cat while trick-or-treating, admire them from a distance and let them enjoy their evening stroll undisturbed.

🕯️ Beware of spooky hazards! Keep candles, decorations, and costume pieces that could be chewed or swallowed safely out of reach.

This adorable Golden Retriever puppy came in for her appointment and quickly proved she’s got brains and beauty! Harley learned her “sit” command right here in the clinic. ✨🐶👏

We think this girl is going places… preferably wherever the treat jar is kept! 🦴💕

HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT VETERINARY TECHNICIANS? 🐾🩺

When you bring your pet to the clinic, you might see our veterinary technicians collecting samples, giving treatments, or helping your pet feel comfortable. But did you know their responsibilities go far beyond what you see during your visit? 👀

Our technicians help with things like:

🩸 Collecting blood and other samples for laboratory testing
💊 Administering medications and treatments
🩻Taking X-rays and performing other diagnostic procedures
💉 Giving subcutaneous fluids and, certain vaccine boosters
🩹 Managing bandages and caring for wounds
💬 Teaching pet parents about medications, follow-up care, and preventive health

October 15th is National Grouch Day! And boy, do we have the purr-fect candidate! 💚😾

Meet Grumpy! With that luxurious coat, those striking eyes, and an expression that says, “I’m two sizes too grumpy for this nonsense,” we couldn’t think of a better feline to celebrate! 😂🐾

Now, we don’t want to point any paws, but… is it just us, or does Grumpy look a LOT like the Grinch?! We’re not saying he’s plotting to steal Christmas, but that face definitely says he has some strong opinions about holiday cheer. 👀🎄🎁🤣
