It's that time of year again!

It's that extremely dangerous time of year again. Lilies and cats do NOT mix well! All parts of lily plants, including the bulbs, leaves, petals, pollen, nectar, and even the water in a vase of cut lilies or in the tray under a potted lily, can cause acute renal failure and death. If you have cats, do not bring lilies into the house, and don't grow lilies in the yard if you have outdoor cats.

It's time for Dr. Upchurch to get her continuing education! She will be out of the office for the Western Veterinary Conference from Friday, February 13th through Sunday, February 22nd, and will be back to her regular appointment schedule on Monday, February 23rd.
During this time, clinic staff will be available to answer questions, schedule appointments, and refill existing prescriptions of non-controlled drugs. We will not be able to authorize any new prescriptions, refill any controlled drugs, or diagnose illnesses, so be sure to make arrangements for those things before Dr. Upchurch leaves.

Female cats will also receive a green tattoo next to spay site (humanely conducted under anesthesia)⁠
