Dr. Erlichman using a slit lamp biomicroscope to examine "Mochi". Slit lamps are used to visualize and magnify the different layers of the eye to adequately diagnose your pets problem. They can help identify eyelid masses, corneal ulcers, uveitis (inflammation within the eye),and cataracts just to name a few. Luckily "Mochi" doesn't have any of these and her eyes are in great shape!
