Announcement: We’re Closed on July 4th in observance of Independence Day. 🇺🇸

Island Life Animal Hospital will be closed on Friday, July 4th and will reopen on Monday, July 7th at 8:00 am. 🐶🐾😺

Should you need to pick up pet medications or food before next Friday, please submit your requests to our office for pickup by 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 3rd.

In the event of a pet emergency outside of our office hours, please call our telephone number for a list of recommended Animal ERs in our local area at 727-289-3776.

We wish each of our pet families a happy and safe July 4th holiday weekend.

Recheck appointments are a crucial part of your pet’s care plan. They help us monitor healing, adjust treatment if needed, and ensure your pet is on the path to recovery.

These Two Chihuahuas Are Bringing the Sunshine!

Charlie (L) and Chicken (R) helped us welcome in the First Day of Summer today with their warm hearts and cool harnesses! ☀️🌴⛱️

Both rescues, Charlie is 2-years-old while Chicken is 6. Guess what…although different sizes, they both weigh 9 lbs.

These sweet girls belong to Vet Tech Chantal and were more than happy to pose for a little summer kickoff photo shoot!

Sophie, a 16-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, receives ongoing care at Island Life Animal Hospital to optimize quality of life for her medical condition.

This senior patient visits us twice a week for subcutaneous fluids (SQF) to support her kidneys. She is just the sweetest patient. 💗

Thanks to her loving family and consistent care, Sophie continues to enjoy her golden years with grace while sharing many tail wags and hugs with our team.
