Has your pet ever made the whoooa whoooa sound a few rooms away and you run to them to see what they’re vomiting up? Well, Oliver here ate a whole stick, that his parents didn’t know he ate! They all came in to see us that night where we took some radiographs to look for any more foreign objects. Luckily, he didn’t have anything else in his stomach or esophagus and was able to return home that evening.

She was not sorry! This little friend was such a good girl at home, she was rewarded with a marrow bone. Unfortunately, while she was chewing it at home, she got the bone stuck on her lower jaw! Our doctor and practice manager attempted to get it off, but we sedated this friend and cut the bone into two pieces.

Our team at UrgentVet recently saw Pebbles after her owner noticed she was shaking her head. Our veterinarian performed a thorough examination and recommended a cytology of the debris in Pebbles’ ears to see if there was an infection. Luckily, we did because she did have an ear infection which we were able to treat with topical medications in her ears!

This is Croix, who was seen recently after vomiting for a few days. After a thorough examination and conversation with his owners we were able to do diagnostic testing with our in-house lab machines. Thankfully the results of all testing were normal, we were able to treat him symptomatically and send him right back home with his loving family.

Yesterday, our team at UrgentVet Mckinney had the solemn honor of providing care for K9 Officer Azi, a devoted partner who gave his life in the line of duty. Azi was a hero, a protector, and a beloved member of the McKinney Police Department.

Our hearts go out to Azi’s handler, fellow officers, and all who knew and loved him. His dedication and bravery will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, K9 Officer Azi. You were deeply loved, and your service will always be remembered. It was a privilege to care for you.

🚨 OFFICIAL STATEMENT: OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING 🚨

The McKinney Police Department has released an official statement regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 13, 2025, at the Red Roof Inn on 1300 North Central Expressway.

The investigation remains active and has been turned over to the Texas Rangers. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
