As we continue to recognize Día de Los Mu***os - we’re grateful that many hospital teams created their own ofrendas! Our communities showed up by sharing pictures and items of their beloved pets at their local VCA this season! The lasting connections we have with our community members and your pets means the world to us. We honor all of those pictured.

These efforts have been made possible by our LatinX - Stronger Together Associate Resource Group for amplifying resources across our hospital teams to create their own ofrendas.

As we pause to remember September 11th, we also honor the remarkable four-legged heroes who served at Ground Zero. More than 300 search and rescue dogs worked tirelessly in the aftermath, bravely navigating dangerous rubble to locate survivors and bring comfort to exhausted first responders. In the midst of chaos their loyalty and courage offered hope and a sense of humanity. We remain forever grateful for their selfless service and the powerful reminder of compassion they gave our nation during its darkest hours.
