It has been the pleasure of my life to have been able to care for generations of your family pets. When I opened Family Pet Medical Center in 1999 I had a dream of a hospital where patients and their families felt at home. When I was able to add Chinese medicine and acupuncture to our state of the art medicine and surgery services I was able to provide cutting edge Integrative Medicine. It was a loss to the practice when Dr Rosen decided to pursue her future nearer to home.
It is now with deep sadness I am announcing my retirement effective immediately. I have sold Family Pet Medical Center to Dr Carlos Sandrea and a management team who are taking the hospital in a different direction. I wish them all the best.
My heart is filled to overflowing with all the beloved pets I have known, the families I have seen grow, the patients and their owner’s who have passed. I have also been blessed with some of the finest Nurses, Receptionists, Animal Caregivers and of course talented Doctors who helped make the very difficult work we do a pleasure and something I came to work and looked forward to every day. Through the years it’s been my honor to be a mentor for persons from the pre-vet level to post graduate Veterinarians in surgery and see them today in successful careers. I could go on for pages and perhaps soon I will. For now, every person, every pet is a beloved memory. All have been paint on the canvas of this Veterinarian’s life. Throughout these many years and many tears, you have all meant everything to me. I love you from the bottom of my heart.
