While you’re enjoying the Halloween festivities, keep these pet safety tips in mind:

🍬 Skip the sweets! Chocolate, candy, and especially xylitol-containing treats can be dangerous for pets.

🎭 Costume comfort matters! Make sure your pet’s costume fits comfortably and doesn’t restrict breathing, movement, or vision.

🚪 Watch the door! Frequent trick-or-treaters can mean extra opportunities for pets to slip outside, so keep them secure and comfortable.

🐾 Know your pet’s limits! Not every pet enjoys the spooky sights and sounds, so give them a quiet, safe space if needed.
