Happy Monday. We hope everyone has a great Labor Day. For our next segment of Up Close and Pawsonal with Gabe, we’d like to share this handsome boy, Queso.

🧺 🐶 Are you ready for more “Picnic and Pooches”. It is the last day of the month, and all month long we have shared videos and pictures of our volunteers taking our adoptable dogs on a mini date away from the shelter so we can show you how they shine away from the shelter environment.

Our last pup to share is Oscar. He had a fun time away from the shelter yesterday with his bestie, Caitlin.

“Took my boy Oscar for a date today to salty ranch! We played with a rope toy, tried out carrying a ball, played some frisbee, and RAN our hearts out 🩵 had to cool down with an ice cream that he happily watched being made! He was great at the stand with saying hi and sitting. Always enjoy our dates and laugh the entire time. This little guy has so much s***k and love for life 🩵”

⭐️ Oscar is around 2 years old and is currently our longest resident at B&R. He has seen so many adoptions in the last almost 18 months and he is wondering when it will be his turn. Not only is he dog friendly, but his adoption has been so generously been sponsored. 🎉

This handsome boy is George and he is around 3-5 yrs old. He had a fun date away from the shelter today with our volunteer, Caitlin.

“Had the pleasure of taking George on a date today! With a little boost he happily got into the car and is the best passenger. We headed to the salty ranch where he was all about business at first taking in all the smells. He did great wandering around and exploring himself. While he doesn’t care for ice cream, he is a good treat catcher! He did great saying hi and meeting people around the ice cream stand. No barks the entire time, just happy to be included in an adventure 🩵🩵”
