This handsome guy decided to give the Dog Daze family a little scare tonight.

Here with Rudy. He was doing his kitty pitty scratching in the lawn, when all of a sudden he couldn't put any weight on his back left leg. We checked for a bee or stinger in his foot... nothing. So after he was heavy panting, and seeming uncomfortable. Off to Cornell we went. 😞 Heres hoping this is an expensive bee sting. The triage tech, said she thinks his left leg looks a little swollen. Waiting to be seen.
Saw the vet, Rudy pulled his way thru Cornell like nothing ever happened. The vet was amazed at how good he's doing after reading his chart. Of course there was nothing "seemingly" wrong, she said she couldn't even ask us to do xrays or anything MRI. She did increase his pain meds (she was shocked with how little he took 🙂). We were worried that the cancer spread, she felt his leg, listened to him.. Everything sounds good 😊. She found a callus on his paw pad. Then asked if this muscular, cancer beating tough guy was that sensitive that a callus would bother him and cause all of this. The answer is YES! Rudy's a soft souled boy.
