Coming up next for me is -- MORE FASTCAT!

The OKA FastCAT (June 20/21) closes June 6/12. So get those entries in! Day of Show (and fun runs!) will be accepted if the trial doesn't fill. So don't lose your spot! It should be an awesome time. We're at Maxwell Park this time.

The Western Lakes FastCAT (June 27/28) closes TOMORROW (June 9). Have you signed up? If you haven't, it's time!! Late entries may be accepted if the trial is not full, but you'll have to reach out to the secretary for that.

‼️‼️ PHOTOS ARE READY! ‼️‼️

Thank you so much to the awesome folks at the Skyline Agility Club for having me out to photograph their first FastCAT trial. Based on what I saw, this is the first of many!

The photos from the trial are now live on the site and ready for purchase!

A few things to note:

1. Questions about pricing or how to purchase? Check out the "Event Info" page on my website. Purchasing is different (but easier I hope!) on the new website. Every purchase of all hi-res photos of your dog from the trial come with a free collage!

2. All of the photos are lightly edited. But more can be done! If you want a fully post-processed photos, reach out

3. I sort all the photos manually so if there's a wrong dog in your folder, let me know. I caught a few as they were going on the site, so hopefully that was it.

Exciting photo news!

The photos are all edited and sorted! It takes a few hours to upload the photos and get everything on the website set up for viewing so expect them to be up tomorrow morning sometime. I'll send out an e-mail to everyone who has signed up to be notified and then you'll also see a post here sometime shortly thereafter!

Sunday's photos are about 2/3 of the way done. I'm currently editing the photos from that afternoon. The morning photos are all edited and sorted. So we're in the final stretch!

I want to give a HUGE shout-out to the whole team at the Skyline Agility Club. This past weekend was their very first FastCAT and they absolutely knocked it out of the park!

They kept the lines moving, kept everyone going in and out with great speed. They were friendly to everyone and helpful for all of the new people trying it for the first time (congrats on getting addicted, new people! It's fun!!). They were just fantastic from start to finish.

I felt honored to be able to shoot their first trial and I am so excited at the photos I got. I'm currently editing photos from Saturday (about halfway through) and then I need to go through Sunday's photos. I hope to have them out to you by the end of the weekend but keep an eye out for updates and sneak peeks (coming soon!!).

A huge thank you to everyone who has purchased photos from the HACNY. You guys are awesome and I love all your dogs!

I had a number of purchases of all photos from the gallery. Did you know if buy all photos of a dog from a trial, you get a free collage that I make from those photos? Here are some of the fabulous dogs doing their thing at the trial!

I think it's important for photographers to always be working on their craft. I want to look back a year or 5 or 10 from now and look at my photos and say "wow I've gotten better!" (Certainly if you saw my first agility photos to now, you'd see exactly what I mean)

So to that end, I signed up for the Embark Challenge at Unleashed Education. This is a 6-month course with 12 specific challenges to get us to think outside the box and work on specific elements. Each challenge comes with feedback and top images picked.

This month the challenge was "Colouriffic". This was going to be one of the harder ones for me. I tend toward more muted colors. I just like the softness of that. I struggled even to think of the right place to take a photo that would be on a colorful background until a good friend suggested this lovely rainbow road at the Inner Harbor.

So off we went with Kessel (a 9-month-old puppy who is you know, a PUPPY) to see what we could capture. I was quite pleased with the end result and imagine my surprise when it made top 20 and came just a hair's breadth from making top 10 (that was maybe the most exciting thing of all!).
