Sorry for the lateness in this post. Elsa's echocardiagram appt was Monday. Here's the update...... Thank you everyone for having Elsa I your thoughts. The echocardiogram showed no real change in her murmur. ACtually, the echo had very little difference from the first one she had done at 14 months of age. So hooray....very very happy Mom here.

We had a phenomenal day celebrating the one and only Elsa for her 11th birthday party. The birthday girl had a great day...

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the day with us. Just a reminder, you can still purchase raffle tickets up until July 28. That's the day we'll pick the winners. ELSA UPDATE:

A lot of folks have asked where Elsa has been for 2 weeks (her absence from Dog Daze, is truly felt). Elsa started to limp on her left rear leg 2 weeks ago..and today the vet confirmed what I hoped wouldn't be. Elsa has a tear in her cruciate, yes normally surgery would fix it. But Elsa's 11 in July, has a grade 3 heart murmur and bloodwork just showed a low cortisol level. We are headed to Cornell ( end of July) for an echocardiogram, and for the tear, the plan currently is NSAIDs for pain and anti-inflammatory stuff. And 2 knee braces ( trying to protect the right knee). She will be home most of the time, trying to heal, she's not happy ( neither am I 😞).
Please send Elsa good vibes and healing thoughts :). We will keep everyone posted.
