Tomorrow is Veterinary Appreciation Day!! ๐
While we appreciate our vet-care staff each and every day, this holiday provides a special opportunity to recognize the hard work, dedication, and highly skilled care our vet staff bring to their jobs every day! ๐พ
Every day of the week, Underdog's veterinary team quietly works a bit of magic behind the scenes to help pets who might not have otherwise received the care they deserve. โค๏ธโ๐ฉน Our skilled doctors, talented vet techs, and committed front desk staffers rarely have a dull moment. Whether it be a day filled with adoptable kitten vaccine visits, a foreign body surgery, or providing TNR services for community cats, they manage a little bit of everything! ๐ช๐ผ
Last week, our staff squeezed in a life-saving c-section for a client's dog. Unfortunately, a puppy inside had passed away, and without intervention mom wouldnโt have survived. Our vet team rallied together and performed emergency surgery to save her life. ๐ซถ
And thatโs just one example.
Each day, our vet team completes spay/neuter surgeries to help prevent unwanted litters, dental cleanings, and special surgeries to provide healthier adoptable pets and happier pets in our community.
