Did you know that you can double up services when your cat visits the clinic?
🩵 If your baby needs a lion cut to help them cool off in this heat but they are overdue for an annual wellness exam, we can do both in house during their visit!
🩵 If you're headed out of town and need to board your cat but they also need a bath, we can give the bath while they are staying with us to board!

If your cat needs any of the multiple services that we offer, we are happy to provide them while they're in our care! ☀️

During an annual exam, Dr. Jasmine may check for any changes in your cat's behavior, administer yearly vaccinations, and discuss flea and heart-worm treatment. One of the most vital parts of these appointments is the nose-to-tail exam, which is a comprehensive physical exam where Dr. Jasmine can look over the cat's entire body for any issues. These yearly visits are a great time to mention any concerns or questions you have about your cat! 🩺💉

We may even pause for some selfies during the exam. As you can see, Kali is very photogenic! 📸🐾

Exclusively Cats

Cat Clinic of Lafayette was just a dream to an overzealous veterinary student (me) at LSU School of Veterinary medicine. During my second semester of veterinary school, I learned feline exclusive veterinary clinics existed in New Orleans and Metairie. The shock of this realization was almost too much for a life long feline enthusiast to handle! After visiting these cat only practices, I was enlightened to what a calm, quiet environment created exclusively for cats could do for the species I had the greatest affinity for. I actually said the words out loud to my now husband “Why doesn’t Lafayette have one of these?” My path in veterinary medicine became clear: I would devote my career to cats and the people who love them.

For several years I worked as an associate veterinarian with board certified feline specialists at feline specialty hospitals in Tampa and Ormond Beach Florida. After working with thousands of cats per year, it was time for me to follow my dream of bringing this healing mission for cats back home.

Being back home means everything to me. After all, this is where I fell in love with cats in the first place! I am excited to bring this feline exclusive experience to the fellow cat lovers of Acadiana.
