☀️ School’s out, summer is here… and the dogs are officially requesting popsicles too.

These homemade peanut butter & banana frozen treats are an easy way to help your pup cool down during those hot Louisiana days. Plus, they’re packed with ingredients dogs love!

🍌 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱:
• 2 large ripe bananas
• 1/2 cup unsweetened peanut butter
• 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

🦴 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲:
Blend the banana, peanut butter, and yogurt until smooth. Spoon into your favorite mold, then freeze for about 4 hours (or until solid).

That’s it — a simple summer treat your dog will think is paws-itively amazing. 🐶🍦

Those big, beautiful eyes completely stole our hearts immediately! This gorgeous 9-week-old Boxer recently came by for her very first visit with us, and let’s just say she made friends with everyone in the clinic.

💡 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁: Did you know that Boxers get their name because they often use their front paws to play, gesture, and "box" during play sessions? They are famously known for their high energy, incredible intelligence, and for remaining delightfully playful and puppy-like for their whole lives.

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻! 💙

Alayna has been part of the Broussard Veterinary Clinic family since March of 2023 and is one of the friendly faces greeting clients and patients at our front desk each day. Outside of work, Alayna is a proud cat mom to 9 year old Phoebe.

Fun fact: if Alayna could be any animal, she says she’d be a little brown bat because they’re adorable, mysterious, and love to sleep… 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘺, 𝘸𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘪𝘵. 😂🦇

From keeping things running smoothly to building relationships with both pets and owners, she’s an important part of our team and we’re so thankful to have her. 🐶🐱

We can’t let the puppies have 𝘢𝘭𝘭 the fun first visit photo ops around here. 😉

Everyone meet 𝗥𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘆! 💕 This tiny 5-week-old kitten recently came by for a visit with us and instantly had the whole clinic wrapped around those tiny paws. 🥹

At this age, kittens grow and change quickly, which makes early veterinary care so important. First visits help us monitor growth and development, check eyes, ears, heart, and overall health, while also discussing nutrition, vaccines, parasite prevention, and all the important kitten-care basics. 🐾

And honestly… tiny kitten appointments may be one of our favorite things ever. 😭

Everyone meet 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘆𝗮! 💕

This gorgeous lady is a 10-week-old American Bulldog who recently came by for her very first visit with us and look at that sweet little face. 🥹

During puppy first visits, we focus on helping puppies get the healthiest start possible. That includes checking growth and development, listening to the heart and lungs, examining eyes, ears, teeth, and skin, discussing vaccines and parasite prevention, and helping answer all those new puppy parent questions.

💡 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁: American Bulldogs are known for being strong and athletic, but they’re also incredibly loyal, affectionate, and often giant cuddle bugs with their families.

Everyone help us welcome Freya to the Broussard Veterinary Clinic family! Here’s to a lifetime full of belly rubs, zoomies, slobbery kisses, and being told she’s “just a baby” forever. 🐾

This adorable 10-week-old Corgi recently came by for his very first visit with us and let’s just say… those ears and those eyes had the entire clinic obsessed immediately. 🥹
