Welcome Bert! 🐾 It was a blast caring for you this past week! Bert loves watermelon, gentle brushing, long forward walks and exploring the outdoors. We jumped some wild turkeys 🦃 on one of our walks which was very exciting! Looking forward to seeing you again, buddy, in September! Stay cool 😎 ☀️

Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!! 🇺🇸
One of our regulars, Forest, is here to share some tips for a successful Holiday weekend!
💦 Keep your pup well hydrated and cool.
🏷️ Make sure your dog has tags on at all times.
🎉 Expect fireworks, play soft music & dim lights - create a safe & calm environment.
🥘 Keep food, alcoholic drinks & desserts elevated & out of canine reach, at all times.
🐾 Inform visitors of your dog’s habits & your household rules around them.
🗑️ Provide receptacles for trash, compost, recycling etc. out of dog’s reach.
💕 Check in with them often, offering support as needed. Short walks, cuddles, praise etc.

Frog hunting! 🐸 These two enjoyed making the frogs jump into the bog from the bank during our pack adventure outing. Exploring different trails and allowing the dogs to enjoy their environment is an important part of our exercise & enrichment program! 🐾 We offer group and individual outings weekly!

White dogs always seem to find a good mud puddle! Bailey loves her bi-weekly Pack Adventures with us! She especially enjoys playing chase through the woods with her pals. At the end of our hike, all Adventure pups get a towel down before being transported back home 🥰 maybe that’s why they get wet? 🤔

Overnights with these two hooligans are something else! They are longtime buddies and get so excited to spend time together. Chase, fetch, and tug for hours. Hobbs is still in recovery from all the activity. Teddy, you are the sweetest boy and I love our times together!
Poor lamb chop saw a little too much action. May lambee rest in peace 🐑 🙏 ♥️

Have you ever met an Azawakh? Well, me neither until this strapping young pup came into my life! 💙Meet Oiseau (wa-sew), a 2yo. Azawakh - which is a West African sighthound with ancient origins. I see it in his eyes and his mannerisms, he is so smart and also slow to warm up to strangers. I have loved the challenge of learning how to work with him and I look forward to the growth of our relationship. He likes to bring me down to the dock on our walks. One of his favorite places.
