What do you do on a Sunday snow day, you mount up a giant Maine Whitetail, mounted on the largest commercial form available in the marketplace, the photo still doesn't show how big this deer is. This deer will be on display at the MASTC, April Banquet. This was was a true Mainer full of fighting marks, aged at 4 years old, I wonder what it would have looked like in another couple years. Cody Agro was wanting to mount this one up real bad today, nice job!👊

Here goes a batch of Kentucky deer headed to the Great American Outdoor Show in PA, for a week on display before heading to their homes in VA , PA and KY. The velvet deer needs some warm weather 😅. Wade Gelinas has done most of the work on these deer from guiding the hunts, skinning and caping, to preparing for tannery, then preparing the forms and mounting and finishing them. 👊

Here is a giant deer ready to head home. At the shop we nicknamed him Magnum , he's got a 26" neck and you don't see many that size. Some cool white on his roman nose also. Pictures don't do justice to the size of this guy.

A good weeks work here, mostly pedestal mounts and a half life-size this week. There is alot of bone mounted up , a few 160" and 150" class deer. 4 Kentucky deer in the mix, we do quite a few from there every season thanks to Wade Gelinas guiding out there and bringing them back to ME to get mounted.

I get a kick out of people thinking Taxidermy prices have gotten to high. To be honest they aren't high enough. A 20 minute vet trip cost $650, a 2hr trip to the hospital cost $15000.. I'm not a doctor or a vet, but I have spent as much $ learning my trade and keeping up with the latest technology to improve mounts constantly. Next year everyone will pay the same price no more discounts, no other business gives one but people expect a small business to give one. I'll say alot of $ comes in every year and it all goes back out in labor, materials, operation cost, insurance, etc. If $1200 is too much $ for you to get a deer mounted go to the cheap guy and enjoy 🤣 there's a huge difference in mount quantity in the area, I'm tired of fixing other mounts done by them also. Repairs will be very limited into the shop. The past year we have remounted 50 or so deer , choose wisely from the start.

We are officially at $1350 for deer shoulder mounts for new customers. Repeats know the drill. Please if you have space freeze your head and make a appointment to drop off.

Updated on deer mounts for the season shoulder mount are $1150 for the next 25 deer then the price will bs $1350 for the remaining season.
