BOOM! CRASH! HELP!
Sound sensitive dogs are a significant part of my veterinary behavior practice. Dogs who pant, pace, hide, drool, or are destructive with sounds are experiencing high levels of fear and anxiety. Now is a good time to talk with your veterinarian about adding an anti-anxiety medication to your firework-prep kit. The right medication will help reduce your pet's anxiety. It is important to practice trials of medication before the actual holiday so the effect can be properly tested.

We love our community. Really we do. But our booth at Pride today was sweltering, so we wrapped up early to protect our staff. We will NOT be at tomorrow either due to heat and staffing concerns, BUT we will have our Gay and Pleasant as heck and Reactive dog gear for sale at our school for dogs on Monday, AND we’ll get some fresh looks in our Etsy store for folx as well. To our friends who are planning on braving the festival tomorrow, you go queens! Slay all day! But hydrate too.

Edited to add: yes we used Canva’s AI to melt our Reactive Dogs design (designed for us by the wonderful Liv Lyszyk). It was wrong to do so, and we are sorry. We almost never reach for that tempting tool and instead employ real artists for everything we do. Heck, we even have a part time in house artist!!! Still, it was wrong and we are sorry.
