Finished up the Relationship-Building (Foundations) program with Biscuit and his owner this week!

Biscuit's owners reached out to me a few months back concerned about his "reactivity," as he had bitten someone that came into their house, and also bit another dog before.

I didn't know he had a bite history prior to meeting him (ideally I always know this before meeting a dog), but I was thankfully pleasantly surprised by his friendly demeanor after finding out.

Biscuit's owners' goal was to be able to take him places and around other people and dogs without major concerns.

I worked hard on helping Biscuit and his owners build a strong foundation of healthy relationships, healthy social placement, good engagement, desensitization work, amazing leash skills, place work, healthy exposure, and equipping his owners with the tools they need to be able to succeed in any environment or situation with him. This is a foundation they can continue to build on to have the healthiest and most successful future with Biscuit.

We made some really great progress during our time together and I'm excited for their future. I loved my time with Biscuit and I'm so grateful they chose me. ❤️☺️

Everyone meet Nellie, the one year old Silver Lab! 👋

Nellie and her owner are doing my Foundations (Relationship-Building) program to help build some confidence and work through some of Nellie's fears, as she has some stranger danger.

I've had one session with her so far and she responded perfectly. I'm looking forward to making more progress with her in the next couple of months!

Finished up the Full Obedience program with Addie and her owner recently!

Addie was a little challenging to work with since she's a bit timid and intimidated by new things, but we made some amazing progress in the two month program.

We worked on building a healthy foundation built on healthy communication, handling, and relationship, and also worked on obedience commands such as Stay, Come, and Place training.

I loved my time with Addie and her owner and I'm grateful they chose me! ❤️

As your private in-home dog trainer, I come directly into your home for each session. Because of this, I kindly ask that you notify me before our appointment if you, anyone in your household, or your dog is experiencing a contagious illness or symptoms, or is suspected to be a carrier of something.

While I understand that illnesses happen, having advance notice allows me to reschedule if needed and helps protect the health of all of my clients, their dogs, my own dog, and myself.

I truly appreciate your understanding and consideration. Thank you for helping me continue providing personalized, in-home training for everyone safely.
