🐾 Exciting News from Dog Training Elite West Michigan! 🐾

We’re thrilled to announce the newest addition to our future service dog training program—a Golden Retriever puppy selected with care and purpose! 🦮💙

Carrie recently conducted temperament testing on four Golden Retriever puppies to help a wonderful family select the one best suited for future service work—evaluating each pup for confidence, focus, and resilience. 📸

This family is doing it exactly right—and we’re proud to be part of their journey every step of the way.

Before the new puppy even came home, they worked with us to train their adult Doberman, laying a solid foundation for structure, obedience, and leadership in the home. Then, they involved us in selecting the right puppy, ensuring temperament and potential aligned with their long-term goals. Now, they’re jumping straight into in-home puppy lessons during the very first week—maximizing early development and setting their new pup up for success!

At Dog Training Elite West Michigan, we believe successful service dog training starts with intentional planning. That means:

☀️🌧️ It was sunny when we left… but by the time we got to the park, the rain had other plans! ☔️🌳

No worries — we pivoted like pros and took our group class to Home Depot 🛠️ where it was dry, and full of great training distractions! 💪🐾

We love seeing the additional growth that happens during group training! Watching these dogs tackle real-world challenges together is what it’s all about. 🙌🐶

🦮🐩🐕‍🦺We had a great time exploring Blandford Nature Center and training our dogs. It’s always fun to connect with the dedicated owners in our pack too! These walks are more than just exercise — they’re a chance to practice real-world obedience around distractions, build confidence, and enjoy the outdoors with other owners that want well behaved dogs too. 🐿️🦌🦆

Big changes are coming — and Cali the Doberman is getting ready!

With a golden retriever puppy soon joining the family to begin service dog training, Cali’s been brushing up on her manners to make sure she sets the right example. Our goal is to prevent any bad habits from being passed on to the newest (and youngest) pack member.

It’s always a smart move to reinforce structure and obedience in the home before adding a new pup — especially when that pup is headed for a future in service work. Cali’s making great progress, and we can’t wait to welcome the new recruit!

Join our fast-growing pack here at Dog Training Elite! Our team is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented person with a passion for helping our Brand grow and ensuring our users operate to the highest potential on the systems/tools provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create and manage user accounts and permissions on various brand-wide systems, including the CRM, G-Suite, Twilio, LearningZen and DogStar DMS
• Document and communicate user account details per franchise to the billing department for accurate Tech Fee billing
• Provide support on user system issues as they arise
• Manage various pilot and Beta programs to improve systems as needed, identifying key regional participants, and gathering feedback to determine a brand-wide fit
• Plan, develop, and conduct individual and group training related to brand-wide systems
• Monitor system production to ensure compliance and quality
• Develop documents and videos for automated system procedures, manuals, and requirements
• Promote a culture of feedback and communication as we work to improve processes
• Help identify process improvements
• Help implement process changes
• Create, enhance, and improve various documents and videos on a bi-lingual scale
• Coordinate projects with other team members as needed

Salary: $44,000 with potential increase after 90-day review
Benefits:
• Medical/Dental benefits
• 10 days paid flex time (after 90-day probationary period)
• 2 paid volunteer days per calendar year
• Dog Training Services for personal dogs
