We are looking to hire an additional scorekeeper for our adult hockey league! Season starts 9/22!
Job responsibilities:

Days/Times:
⏰Wednesday nights 8:30-11:30pm
⏰2 games per week
⏰Additional subbing opportunities on other nights of the week as needed
Pay:
💰$15 per game

🎃 Dare to Survive the Spooky Trail? 👻

The Humane Society invites you to a night of fright on Saturday, October 11th, 8–10 PM!
$5 admission at the gate.

The trail is full of live actors and spooky surprises. Only the bravest will make it to the end and enjoy refreshments if you survive.

⚠️ This haunted trail may be too scary for younger kids.
All proceeds go directly to the animals in our care.

🐾✨ Exciting News! ✨🐾

West Michigan Dog Sports is thrilled to announce that we’ll be hosting a Fetch Workshop and an AKC Fetch Test! 🐕

Fetch is a fun and beginner-friendly sport that focuses on your dog’s natural retrieving skills. If your dog can go get a ball and bring it back to you, your dog can do the novice test! Earn AKC titles while doing something your dog already loves and have a ton of fun together (psst, we'll have title rosettes, too!). If you haven't done a dog sport trial, this is a great low pressure way to dip your toes into the dog sports world and see what it's all about. If you've already tried Fetch, we'll be offering both Novice and Intermediate tests so you'll be able to take the next step in your titling journey.

Our Fetch Workshop will go over all the rules and regulations, how to qualify and earn a title, and give you an opportunity to practice the test in the same field the trial will take place in so you and your dog will be ready to go on the day of the actual trial.

WORKSHOP:

📍 Location: Cedar Animal Hospital - 3705 Gentle Way, Cedar Springs
🕒 Time: 9am - Noon
💵 Cost: $30

West Michigan Dog Sports is thrilled to announce that we’ll be hosting a Fetch Workshop and an AKC Fetch Test! 🐕

The AKC Fetch Test will be held Sunday, October 5th at Cedar Springs Animal Hospital. There will be 2 tests with 2 different judges. Both Novice and Intermediate are offered and we have new title rosettes, too!

Cost: $25 pre-entry or $30 day of event (please note if you earn a title that AKC does charge a recording fee to have titles recorded)

Entry Method: Fill out pages 6-7 in the premium and mail to Ellie Brand at 731 Livingstone AVE NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505 along with your entry fee OR enter online at https://wmdsfetch.as.me

Schedule: Dogs will run in 2 groups.
Group A: Trial 1 from 9 – 10:30 am and Trial 2 from 10:30 – noon
Group B: Trial 1 from 1 – 2:30 pm and Trial 2 from 2:30 – 4 pm.

Groups will be assigned first come, first serve, based on availability. Preferences will be taken into consideration, but group placements are not guaranteed. A final schedule will be emailed to entrants prior to the event.
