📣 My regular clients are in the know and have been for awhile but I think it’s time to officially announce that we are expecting our first human baby! In just 3 short months!
We are so excited to welcome this new life and chapter to our family. What that means for my one-woman-show business is that I will be unavailable for training from May 1- September 1, 2026. I will be resuming Wags & Weddings in August.
Wish us luck on this incredible new adventure. ❤️

🍁🍂 Fall Group Classes are here!! 🎃👻
We have a couple full classes already but we are looking for a couple more students in others! These classes will begin in at the middle of October and graduate the first week of December. We will skip over the week of Thanksgiving 🦃.
Group classes meet once per week for a total of six weeks at the Cascade Hospital for Animals.
Each class has 3-6 participating dogs and their handlers.

Our upcoming start dates are:

-Monday October 20, 2025
5:30pm- Puppy/Adolescent 101 (1 spots left!)
6:30pm- Momentum 201 (FULL!)
7:30pm- Puppy/Adolescent 101 (5 spots left; 3 more students needed to run)

-Thursday October 23, 2025
5:30pm- Momentum 201 (2 spots left!)
6:30pm- Puppy/Adolescent 101 (3 spots left; 1 more student needed to run)
7:30pm- Beyond Basics 301 *CGC Class* (5 spots left; 3 more students needed to run)

Key 🔑:
🐾 Puppy/Adolescent 101- This class is perfect for young puppies or social dogs with little to no formal training experience. We will be working on Name Recognition, Come, Sit, Down, Stay, Loose Leash Walk, Calm Greetings, Socialization and more! There is no age limit for this class.
🐾 Momentum 201- This is an intermediate level course working on impulse control skills. We will be learning Focus, Place, Heel, Touch, Leave It, Wait, and more!
🐾 Beyond Basics 301- This is a more advanced class working toward passing the Canine Good Citizen test. The ideal candidates for this course have a solid foundation of obedience and are ready to start testing those skills in tougher environments/eliminating treats.

We are proudly partnered with Dream Dogs Training to make group classes available to the people of Grand Rapids and surrounding communities.

Edited to add: this event is for humans. Please leave furry friends at home for this one (service animals welcome).

Come join us this Sunday at for their Support Local Fest! There will be so many home grown goodies, products from local small businesses, and maybe a couple treats at my booth (for humans!)

We will be there Sunday 9/7 from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
Our friends will be there Saturday 9/6 from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Group Classes start tonight! If you would like to do a last minute enrollment we have:

-ONE spot left in puppy class beginning tonight at 6:30pm
-TWO spots left in 301 CGC class beginning tonight at 7:30pm
-THREE spots left in 201 impulse control class beginning Wednesday at 6:30pm

Remember that we will be skipping over Labor Day Monday and continuing on the following week.

Available services include Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella vaccines, microchipping, heart worm tests, and heartworm, flea & tick prevention.

A few things to note:
- All cats must arrive in a cat carrier
- All dogs must be secure on a collar and leash
- Prepare for the weather while waiting in line, including sun and heat protection for you and your pet, cool drinking water, and towels to protect your pet's feet from the warm asphalt

We had the honor of being a vendor at this year’s Bark in the Park at yesterday! Not only that but our booth was right next to our good friend and colleague, Tara at ❤️
Tara built this awesome photobooth and we supplied some hats and flower collars from our ever-growing prop closet 😆
