Meet Dr. Regina Downey
Dr. Downey has been a dedicated practicing veterinarian since 1983, beginning her distinguished career in rural Virginia. She later relocated to Massachusetts, where in 1990 she founded the Coastal Animal Clinic in Salisbury. The hallmark practice quickly set itself apart in the region for its compassionate, high-quality patient care. Most recently, after successfully operating a practice in New Hampshire, Dr. Downey sold her business to relocate to her home in Aiken, South Carolina, where she happily joined the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) Veterinary Services team.
An expert in integrative medicine, Dr. Downey holds an extensive array of advanced holistic certifications, including:

Dr. Downey is a licensed veterinarian in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Professionally, she maintains active memberships in the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association (AHVMA), the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA), and the New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association (NHVMA).
Her academic excellence and dedication to the field are further highlighted by her inductions into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Alpha Zeta Agricultural Honor Fraternity.
