This morning was a bit special as we brought Mahrajaan in from the paddock to prepare him for his new journey away from racing- fresh bath, headcollar with his name ingraved and a pick of grass for the road.

Mahrajaan was purchased from England, where Shaune spotted him at the Tattersalls July sales and thought some good old nz grass and a stayers training regime would turn the light chestnut into a potential cup horse- and Mahrajaan did just that!

First horse in 60 years to complete the NZ Cup and Auckland Cup on top🏆

Thank you ”Murray” for the memories, we are going to miss you- a wonderful new home awaits where hopefully some more ribbons and throphys will be collected.

Thank you to our owners, for supporting us all the way through with Murray!

Another trip to England awaits this winter, can we find another one like Mahrajaan? 🤩
