How long have you been training for?
I have been training since 2008, and my best jumper so far has been The Midnight Shift. He won the HB hurdles as a 6yo.

Best accomplishment so far?
Winning the Hawkes Bay Hurdles

Favourite jumping racecourse?
Te Aroha and I would love to win a chase there with Charred this season.

How did you get into jumping?
Even as a teenager and into my 20s, I have always liked jumping horses. So the combination of racing and jumping is dynamic.

Aims for the future:
To win a feature race with one of my two horses this year.

Plenty happening today at Ellerslie and we're heading up and over the Bombays with Ember Attack to see if he can continue his rich vein of form!

Tegan Newman will partner him in Race 3, the Eagle Charters 1200, at 2.10 from barrier 7.

It's Legends' Day and we're off to Te Rapa Racing with Saltness hoping to continue his good run of form in the Horses @ Henley Park 1300.

He's drawn barrier 11 and Ngakau Hailey has the ride.

Ember Attack gets the bob on the line to take out race 1 at Te Rapa! He’s been very consistent this season, knocking on the door so we are thrilled to finally get another win with him.
