RSPCA - Great Ayton Animal Centre Since opening our doors in1990 we have dedicated ourselves to rehabilitating and rehoming a variety of animals!

We are a rehoming centre, and do not have any inspectors at our site. For any reports of neglect or cruelty, please call 0300 1234 999 RSPCA Great Ayton Animal Centre Registered Charity Number 219099.

Lots of you noticed Whiskey on our Facebook post earlier this week, and we’re so happy to finally be able to introduce him as being ready for rehoming! 🥳🐾

Whiskey is a 10-year-old JRT cross who has been in RSPCA care since May. It took him a little while to come out of his shell and learn to trust people again, but he has made amazing progress and is now ready for a fresh start in a loving new home. ❤️

Whiskey does have some special requirements. He’s looking for a quieter household and peaceful walking areas, as he can still lack confidence at times. His new family will also need to be understanding and happy to take on his age-related medical needs.

With patience, kindness and understanding, we’re sure Whiskey will make a wonderful addition to the right home. 🥰

A huge thank you to the lovely Lottie from Mitsy for her beautiful new princess blanket! 👑💗
Lottie specifically asked for the blanket to be given to one of our most special animals, and Mitsy is just that! 🥰
This poor old girl has had such a rough time since arriving with us, and she really does deserve nothing but the very best. ❤️
Mitsy has now been available for rehoming for over two months, and sadly still doesn’t have a home lined up. She has so much love to give and would be so deserving of a forever family. 🏡💕

We’re looking for more dog fosterers to help give some of our lovely dogs a break from kennel life and a chance to experience the comfort of a home. ❤️

Fostering can make such a huge difference — giving a dog the space to relax, learn and show their true personality while they wait for their forever home. 🏡🐶

You don’t need to be a dog expert, just have a safe, loving home and plenty of love to give.

These two gorgeous cats are both hoping their forever homes are just around the corner. 🐾

Safrook loves exploring the cattery but is never far away for long before coming back for some fuss. Lucia, meanwhile, is a big fan of cuddles and will happily lap up all the attention she can get. 🥰

Sweet senior Mitsy is still waiting…

Mitsy has been waiting patiently for her forever home, and we think it’s about time she found her person. ❤️

Mitsy is a sensitive soul who loves company, comfy beds and sofa snuggles. We’re even starting to see her playful side, with some very cute little zoomie flops! 🥰

She may be able to live with a similar-sized, similar-energy dog. She could also be suitable for primary school-aged children who understand her need for space.

Mitsy has been through a lot and deserves a quiet, loving home to call her own. Could you be the one she’s been waiting for? 🏡🐶
