We're spoiling you with 2 posts for the final day!

We often get applicants who are looking for a dog to take away with them on a regular basis either in a caravan, dog friendly hotels, or even in some cases abroad on the ferry! Bonnie was recently rehomed and has been enjoying her holidays in the beautiful Lake District, and will soon be heading abroad on her next adventure!

‘Bonnie having the most wonderful time on holiday in the Lake District with her new family. Lots of lovely walks on the fells and swimming in the lakes and rivers, a dogs paradise. She's looking forward to her next adventure, a trip to the French Alps! 🐾’

"I have cats, you won't rehome to me" 🐱

'We thought we could give Benny the home he needed and deserved but no-one knew what he'd be like with cats. We organised the home so the cats would have their space and with a leap of faith from RSPCA and us it has worked. Benny is living life as he should and we couldn't be happier! 💙'

"I work full time, you won't rehome to me"💼

You may have seen Koda (previously Duke) shared on our social media. Koda’s new mum was unsure if she’d be given the opportunity to adopt given she works full time. She put plenty of information on her application form and after a discussion about how she would manage the dogs during their alone time, we were happy to proceed! Here’s what she has to say 💙

‘Koda recently joined our home and he’s just as loved and happy as a dog whose owner is home all day. Thanks to my fab neighbours the dogs get a toilet break whilst I’m out and one day a week they go to a dog sitter for the day which breaks up their week. I can monitor them on camera and speak to them if needed.’

"I'm an older person, you won't rehome to me" 🏠

Goose is a young dog who went home with a lovely older gentleman last year. A wonderful support network is in place to ensure Goose’s exercise needs are met when his dad can’t take him so far 💙

‘he is absolutely thriving & loving life to the full whether it be out with all his pack friends running round like a nutter 🤪 or sauntering round the local park with his Dad 🥰’

"I live far away, you won't rehome to me" 🚗

Kiki found the most wonderful family who travelled a 9 hour round trip to meet her on 2 occasions and take her home! Kiki was a great traveller and her new adopters were happy to source outside behaviour help if needed. Here’s how she’s getting on! 💙

‘Kiki is doing super well, we have actually bought a house since bringing her home so although it is chaotic… we wouldn’t change a thing. She has especially loved us cutting trees down as she gets the stray sticks so chew. Kiki still goes to work with Jordan every day, she loves the car journey and socialising with people who feed her against the rules. (She’s put on a little weight). She’s the best dog in the world. She's hard work, but she is family!’

"I live in a flat, you won't rehome to me" 🏠

Blue was adopted around 2.5 years ago now. He lives in a flat with a communal garden. His adopters are currently going through the process to add a new friend for Blue to the family! Whilst not every dog will be suitable to share a garden, or live in a flat, we are often able to find a match who would be more than happy with this lifestyle! 💙

"I don't have a (big/secure) garden, you won't rehome to me" 🏠

Rhona is a beautiful bull lurcher who was getting overlooked. Her new family came to meet another dog who wasn’t quite the right match. Despite not having a large garden, her new family let us know there are plenty of open spaces nearby and they would be happy to go out for toilet walks if necessary. Rhona is settling in wonderfully in to her new life and despite not having a large garden, she couldn’t be happier 💙

‘I was lucky to be matched with Rhona almost two months ago. It was really important to me that what I could offer by way of a home, including the lack of a secure garden, mapped directly to any dog's needs and personality. RSPCA Great Ayton did a fantastic job of doing just that and Rhona and I are getting to know and understand each other including discovering that she is a real sun worshipper!’
