When I'm not gardening, I love to sew. I heard about the Coat of Hopes, a performance art piece that is being walked from Newhaven in the south to Glasgow in time for COP26 where it will meet up with other environmental pilgrimages. Last night I took my machine to Penrith and helped to sew patches onto the coat. Amazing experience and beautiful sewing work on all those patches! This is the patch I took with me which will be sewn onto the coat in Carlisle. A simple message of being quiet and listening to the beautiful planet around us.

We are moving to Cumbria so will be welcoming new clients in the Penrith area shortly. We have very much enjoyed our time in Yorkshire working in some lovely gardens.

Re-laying some old York stone this week. Yesterday we've moved this behemoth into place! Gorgeous stone but head scratching stuff trying to place it all.
