Stokesley Vets

Meet cute little Samson, he came in this morning for his first visit to the practice 🐕

He was so brave for his first vaccinations with vet Rachel. Then he went out to reception and tried to pay himself but couldn't quite work out how to use the card machine so decided treats were the better option 😉

Recently we had a little hedgehog in who had become entangled in some netting 🦔
If you have netting in your garden please check it daily as if anything gets stuck the sooner we help the better.
Fortunately this little guy was lucky, the netting had not caused any injuries so once removed he could go straight back home 🛖

Honey won her class at Stokesley Show which was sponsored by the practice. Her mum called in today with her winning voucher to collect her prizes 🏆

Honey is really looking forward to her treats and we're very grateful to her mum for sending us these gorgeous pictures!

Good luck next year Honey, we hope you win again 🤩

Today is International Veterinary Nurse Day!

Our 3 nurses Kate 🐹 Laura 🐈 and Lucy 🐕 are amazing people with a massive skill set.

* Health checks 🐕
* Blood sampling🐈
* Radiography☢
* Nail trims🐾
* Empting a**l glands🦨
* Puppy and kitten vaccines 🐶🐱
* Monitoring anaesthetics🏥
* Monitoring recovery from anaesthetic and surgery✅
* Pain scoring 🐩🐈‍⬛
* Administer long term medication injections
* Socialisation consultations🌻

Their love of animals is phenomenal and that's what motivates them to care for each and every pet as if it were their own both in consults and surgery.

At home Laura is most definitely the cat lady of the 3, although she has taken home baby rabbits this week to nurture since they lost their mum. Kate has chinchillas and a super cute dog. Lucy would really love a horse but has found her 2 border terriers are a more manageable size for home life!!

Next time we post they will be in their fabulous new uniforms but for now we have to reuse the old photos!

If further treatment is needed, we'll put the £25 paid for the Lump Check towards your treatment.

📞 Call the clinic to book or visit our website Offers page for more information and book online.

Congratulations to Flora who has completed her training and passed her exams in Cardiology ❤️

Flora is the vet you need to see to investigate any heart murmurs picked up by our Clinical team. Using ultrasound she can perform echocardiology to assess the structure of your dog or cat's heart ❤️

Do you know which vaccinations your cat needs, and when they need them?

Vaccinations help protect cats against serious infectious diseases and are an important part of routine preventative care. Keeping them up to date also gives your veterinary team a chance to review your cat’s health and make sure their vaccination schedule is right for them.

Our helpful vaccination guide explains what to expect and when your cat may need their vaccinations.
