•𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Keeping our displays sparkling and our fish happy and healthy. 💧
•𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: Helping customers find the perfect products, from tanks to food to decor.
•𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘀: Contributing to a friendly, welcoming, and fun atmosphere in the store!

Take some time out for maintenance 😁

Now is a great time to service aquarium heaters as ambient temperatures are high enough for them not to be needed. Remove limescale using pond pump de-scaling products and check that cables and fuses are in good shape. If still using an older style heater with a bi-metallic strip, consider pensioning it off in favour of an electronic version. It may not be too critical now but heater failure can be a disaster at any other time of year and there are few tanks where the value of the livestock doesn’t exceed the price of a top of the range model. WE ARE HIRING!!!
We are looking for a casual member of staff to assist our existing team of fish nuts. If you are passionate about aquatics, enjoy sharing your passion for the hobby with others, and are able to work to a flexible rota this could be the job for you! The role will likely be 1-2 days per week depending on season, staff holidays etc, with potential for more days if able to travel to our sister store at Stockton. Being retail this will involve weekend and Bank holiday work.
